Sign up and sign in

#Create an account

Go to console.pantechdynamics.com/signup and either:

• enter your work email and a password, or
• press Continue with Google.

A password must be at least 12 characters. There are no rules about symbols or digits; instead we check it against known breached passwords and refuse one that has leaked.

We email you a six-digit code, and the console opens Verify your email. Enter the code there to confirm the address: that signs you in. If it has not arrived, check spam. After a minute you can use send a new code, which replaces the old one.

You can't use an account until its email is verified. Nothing is set up until you enter the code, and closing the page doesn't skip the step: the next time you sign in, we email a new code and ask for it first. Signing up with Google doesn't need a code, because Google has already confirmed the address.

Once the email is verified, the console walks you through setting up your profile, two-factor, your organization and a payment method. The quickstart covers each step.

#Sign in

At console.pantechdynamics.com/login, enter your email and password, or press Continue with Google if that is how you signed up.

Keep me signed in keeps you signed in on that browser for 30 days. Leave it unticked on a shared computer, and you are signed out when the browser closes.

If you never confirmed your email, signing in with your password doesn't sign you in yet. We email a six-digit code and show Verify your email. Enter the code and you continue. Codes last 10 minutes, and you can ask for a new one once a minute. The sign-in itself expires after 15 minutes or 5 wrong codes; then enter your email and password again and we'll send a fresh code. If you were already signed in on a browser before confirming, the console signs you out and asks you to verify the same way.

If you have two-factor on, you are asked for the six digits from your authenticator app next, or Use a recovery code if you do not have your phone. If you take too long, the sign-in times out; enter your email and password again.

#Forgotten password

1. On the sign-in page, press Forgot password?
2. Enter your email and press Send reset link.
3. Open the link in the email and choose a new password, twice.

We say a link is sent "if an account exists" for any address, so the form cannot be used to find out who has an account.

The link works once and expires 30 minutes after it was sent. If it has expired, request a new one. Setting a new password signs you out everywhere else.

#Accepting an invite

If a teammate invited you, the email links to an invite page showing the organization, your role and when the invite expires.

• New to Pantech? Choose a password and press Accept invite. You're signed in straight away. You don't need a separate code: the invite reached your inbox, so accepting it confirms your email.
• Already have an account? Press Log in first, then accept. If you never confirmed that account's email, signing in asks for the six-digit code first, as above, and then brings you back to the invite.

Accepting confirms your email only when the invite was sent to that address. If you accept while signed in to an account with a different email, you still join, but that account's email stays as it was.

Decline turns it down. An invite that has expired or been used says so; ask whoever invited you to send another. See team and roles.

#Signing out

Open the account menu at the top of the console and choose Log out.
