    Changelog

What's new in the Pantech CLI, SDKs and AI tools, release by release.

New versions of the Pantech CLI, newest first. Every change, with the details, is in the CLI's changelog. To install the latest:

    Terminal
    $ pantech upgrade

Versions before v0.1.5 don't have pantech upgrade. Run the install script once instead: curl -fsSL https://pantechdynamics.com/install | bash.

AI apps, MCP and SDKs — 24 October 2026

    • Connect your AI app: Claude, ChatGPT, Claude Code, Cursor, VS Code, Windsurf, Codex, Gemini CLI and Grok can manage your servers through Pantech's MCP server, https://mcp.pantechdynamics.com/mcp. You approve each app in the console, with Read only, Manage or Manage and delete access, for 7, 30 or 90 days.
    • Anything that costs money, opens access from the internet, or deletes or overwrites asks you first. Owners can turn AI apps off for the whole organization under Organization › AI apps.
    • pantech-mcp stdio runs the MCP server on your own machine, with the key you signed in with.
    • pantech mcp install <client> writes an AI app's config for you; pantech mcp status and pantech mcp list-clients show what is set up. More.
    • pantech auth logout now revokes the key as well as forgetting it. --keep-key keeps it working.
    • SDKs for Go, Python and JavaScript, with automatic idempotency keys, safe retries, pagination, waiting and webhook verification.
    • The API: DELETE /me revokes the key that sends it, and GET /me now says the key's kind and client_name. Authentication.

    v0.1.6 — 6 October 2026

    • A profile signed in on a development API by an old version now says so, and how to sign in again, instead of reporting that the API key is not valid.

    v0.1.5 — 5 October 2026

    • pantech upgrade installs the latest version, and the CLI tells you when a new one is out.
    • security-groups rules add | remove and db access-rules add | remove change some rules and keep the rest.
    • vm ssh connects to the machine's address when the platform can't open SSH access for it, and --revoke now closes access even when you end the session with Ctrl+C.
    • Subnets can be given by name.

    v0.1.4 — 5 October 2026

    • Managed databases: create, power, resize and snapshot them, and set who may connect.
    • Volumes, snapshots, VPC networks and subnets, public IPs and security groups.
    • vm ssh opens port 22 to your address for 15 minutes before connecting.
    • vm private-network attach connects a machine to its zone's private database network.

    v0.1.3 — 5 October 2026

    • The CLI always uses the production console and API.

    v0.1.2 — 4 October 2026

    • vm list and vm get show a standard machine's address, and vm ssh connects to it.

    v0.1.0 — 4 October 2026

    • The first release: sign in through the console, manage machines and SSH keys, read the catalogue, and call anything else in the API with pantech api.
