    Receipts

The receipt you get every time money moves on your account, how to download it from the console or the API, and which Pantech company issues it.

    When you get a receipt

A receipt is issued every time money moves on your account:

    WhenReceipt
You pay, including when you add activation credits to set up your accountReceipt, marked Paid
You top up your creditReceipt, marked Paid, showing the credit added
An invoice is paid, by card or from your creditReceipt, marked Paid, naming the invoice
Credit is taken for a new VM's or database's upfront paymentDebit receipt, marked Debited
Money is refunded to your creditRefund receipt, marked Refunded. A refund of an invoice is a credit note showing the refunded subtotal, the VAT (7.5%) refunded and the total

Activation credits, top-ups and upfront payments carry no VAT, so neither do their receipts. VAT is on the invoice, and the receipt for paying an invoice shows the amount paid, VAT included. See VAT.

A receipt usually appears within a minute of the payment settling. Each one is numbered PTD-RCT-<year>-<number>, in order through the year, for example PTD-RCT-2026-000123.

    By email

The receipt is attached as a PDF to the email about the payment: the payment, top-up or invoice-paid email you already get, or its own receipt email for debits and refunds. It goes to your billing email if you set one in Billing settings, and otherwise to the organization's owners and admins.

    In the console

    • Billing → Receipts lists every receipt, newest first. Open one to see its details, or press Download for the PDF.
    • On Billing → Transactions, a movement that has a receipt shows its number under the description. Select it to open the receipt.
    • After a top-up, the confirmation shows View receipt and Download receipt once the payment has settled.

Any member of the organization can see and download its receipts.

    With the API

    Terminal
    $ curl -H "Authorization: Bearer $PANTECH_API_KEY" https://api.pantechdynamics.com/public/v1/billing/receipts$ curl -H "Authorization: Bearer $PANTECH_API_KEY" -o receipt.pdf \    https://api.pantechdynamics.com/public/v1/billing/receipts/rcp_.../pdf

A settled credit purchase names its receipt in receipt: { "id": "rcp_...", "number": "PTD-RCT-2026-000123" }, or null until it is issued. See Billing in the API reference. Reading receipts needs the read scope.

    Who issues it

The company on the receipt follows how you paid:

    • Pantech Dynamics, Inc., with its San Francisco address and US phone number, for payments taken by Stripe (in US dollars).
    • Pantech Dynamics Ltd, with its Abuja address and Nigerian phone number, for payments taken by Flutterwave (in naira).

Debits from credit and refunds, which no card provider handles, follow your account's currency: US dollars for the Inc., naira for the Ltd. Organizations in Nigeria are billed in naira; everyone else in US dollars.

    Checking a receipt is genuine

Every receipt carries a verification code on its tear-off stub, such as 7F3A 91C2 0B4E. Pantech keeps the original of every receipt it issues. If you need to confirm a copy is genuine, for an audit or an expense claim, send the receipt number and the code to support and we will check it against the original.
