Billing / Paying in naira
Paying in naira
Organizations registered in Nigeria are billed in naira and pay through Flutterwave's checkout, without leaving the console.
Who is billed in naira
Your currency is set by the country your organization is registered in, chosen in the Organization step when you first set up your account. An organization registered in Nigeria is billed in naira. The currency cannot be changed afterwards, so pick the country the organization is actually registered in.
Prices on the create forms, the Billing page and your transactions are all shown in naira. Prices exclude VAT, which is 7.5% for naira accounts too, added to the end-of-period invoice.
Activation credits
The Funding step of setup activates your account with ₦1,000 in activation credits. This is not a fee, and carries no VAT: the full amount goes into your organization's credit balance and pays for what you use, like any other credit. You pay it on Flutterwave's checkout, which opens inside the console, by card or bank transfer. Paying in naira does not save a card. When the payment goes through, the console takes over and your account is active.
If you close the checkout before paying, nothing is charged; try again when you are ready. If you paid but the console has not caught up, it can take a few minutes for the payment to reach us, so check again in a moment.
Adding funds
On Billing, press Add funds:
- Pick ₦200,000, ₦500,000 or ₦1,000,000, or type your own amount. The minimum is ₦5,000.
- Press Pay with Flutterwave and confirm.
- Finish paying on Flutterwave's checkout, which opens on the page. It closes by itself once the payment goes through.
The credit lands once the payment settles, and comes off your next invoice before your card is charged. A top-up carries no VAT. Credit cannot be refunded.
Pantech never sees your card
Card details go straight to the payment provider. We hold only a token for a saved card, never its number.
