    Payment methods

The cards saved to your organization, which one is charged, and how to add or remove one.

    Your saved cards

If your organization is billed in dollars, the card you pay your activation credits with is saved to it. Organizations billed in naira pay through Flutterwave's checkout, which does not save a card. Billing → Payment methods lists every saved card with its details, when it was added and its status.

Pantech never sees or stores a card number. Card details go straight to our payment provider, and we keep only a token from them.

    The default card

The default card is the one charged when a payment falls to a card, such as an invoice your credit does not cover, or the upfront payment for a new virtual machine or database when your credit does not cover the whole amount. A saved card also lets you create a Kubernetes cluster without holding credit for its nodes.

To change it, open another card's ⋯ menu and choose Make default. An expired card cannot be made the default.

    Add a card

On Payment methods, press Add card and enter the card in the secure form. Your bank may ask you to confirm it, usually with a code sent to your phone; that check opens on the page. Once it is done, the card is listed with your others.

    Change a card's number

A saved card cannot be edited: we hold a token, not the number. To replace a card, add the new one, make it the default, then remove the old one.

    Remove a card

Open the card's ⋯ menu and choose Remove, then confirm. It is removed here and from the payment provider. If it was the default, another saved card takes its place.

You cannot remove your only card. Add another first.
